Application for Cohort #3 will open in Fall of 2026

Who should apply?

This 10 month program is designed for paid staff at non-profit organizations in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. The goal is to create stronger community organizers in the region, so organizations who apply should already be implementing community organizing strategies in their work. We welcome roles with 1 + years of experience who are working directly with the community such as community organizers, youth/adult coordinators, program coordinators, etc.. as well as managers/supervisors and Executive Directors.

Cost & Commitment

The cost of the program is $250/person and organizations can send up to 2 staff.

Staff who apply are required to attend ALL in-person and virtual programming. The host organization must also agree to pay for the time their staff attends Academy programming as regular work hours and also pay for their mileage.
